Omar’s Bistro is the newest addition to Omar’s World of Comics & Pixel Paradise, a local comic book and gaming hub. The bistro takes pride in producing food from scratch, including toasting and grinding their own spice blends, baking buns daily, and grinding their own burger blend in-house.

The menu at Omar’s Bistro offers a variety of authentic American food, available for delivery, takeaway, and dine-in. Some of the items on the menu include house-ground beef patties, mac & cheese, grilled cheese, crispy chicken & fries, and specialty pizzas. They also offer a variety of sauces and toppings for customization.

The bistro is known for its community involvement and vocational training for those in need. It provides work opportunities for students with disabilities, following the model of Omar’s World of Comics & Pixel Paradise

The owner of the bistro, Omar Masood, has Down syndrome and opened Omar’s World of Comics & Hobbies in 2018 to share his love of comics. The bistro was added later, with the aim of incorporating all of Omar’s favorite foods, especially cheeseburgers. The restaurant also serves as a community gathering space, offering comfort food and friendly chatter.

  • Omar’s Favorite: A house-ground beef patty with house cheese on a brioche bun, which can also be made with gluten-free bread
  • Mac & Cheese: A classic comfort food offering.
  • Grilled Cheese: Made with house cheese and sliced brioche.
  • Crispy Chicken & Fries: Halal chicken with a choice of dipping sauces such as BBQ, Honey Mustard, Ranch, Buffalo, Maple Sriracha, or House-made Ketchup.
  • The DM: A burger with two 4 oz house-ground beef patties, house cheese, garlic aioli, fried onions, arugula, pickles, and a brioche bun.
  • Specialty Pizzas: Including ‘Za from Beyond with roasted sweet potato, red onion, and zesty house-made Beyond sausage, and The Great White with white sauce and halal beef bacon.
  • BBQ Brisket Grilled Cheese: A savory combination of BBQ brisket and melted cheese
  • Double-Goo Mac & Cheese: A richer version of the classic mac & cheese.
  • Brioche Donut Bites: A sweet treat to finish off a meal.
  • Nashville Hot Chicken Bites: Spicy chicken bites for those who enjoy a bit of heat

Sabrina’s take:  Brand new bistro. They just redid their kitchen and opened even more seating in the downstairs. I love the DM! It’s an amazing burger that I absolutely love. It’s not your typical comic book store food (which I don’t even know what that would be), yet something grander. With interesting takes on classics like their Falafel pizza. I love the story of Omar and his family building this hub for the community. Omar’s is one of the few places for kids to hang out. I recently went there to play on the racing sim and it was so much fun and an experience not often seen.
