Jonas Clarke

Listen to the favorite songs of Jonas Clarke

We also nicknamed him our favorite colonial dad-bod.

Why I chose these songs

Every single one of these tracks is like, straight out of a time machine, all the way from the 80s. It’s as if they’ve been teleported from the golden era of MTV, neon leg warmers, and groovy hairdos. Each of these songs is pretty much a time capsule of the 80s, capturing the flair, the synth-driven beats, and that quintessential 80s vibe that made the music of that decade so legit.

Seriously, if you’re into history like I am, these songs are like the Duolingo to 80s pop culture, decoding the vibe of a time when people rocked out to boomboxes and danced like they didn’t care. And you know who’d totally dig this stuff? The Reverend, Jonas Clarke. I mean, I’m just a history-loving 13 year old, but based on what I know about his musical leanings, these songs would be his jam. It’s like taking him on a Bill & Ted-style adventure through the 80s, offering a killer mixtape that’s both a blast to listen to and a window to an iconic era. Totally tubular, right?
